Hulmeville Borough 150th Committee

The purpose of this organization shall be to recognize and enhance the historic nature of Hulmeville Borough, organize and coordinate activities to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Borough, and raise funds to further this purpose.

During 2021 and 2022, the Committee sponsored a number of events to help celebrate the 150th year of Hulmeville's incorporation as a borough. These events were well attended and enjoyed by the residents of the Borough. So much so that people asked if at least some of the events could continue to be held.

The 150th Committee decided to continue to sponsor events that are designed to showcase the Borough's history and/or to benefit the Borough residents. For 2023, the Committee decided to sponsor the following events:

  • History book reading
  • Family fun day combined with the National Night Out
  • Ghost Tours
  • Halloween House Decorating Contest

For 2024 we anticipate repeating many of these, and possibly other, events, including a spirit reading with medium Karen Hluchan. Visit our Events page for more information and dates.

If you have other events that you would like the Committee to sponsor, visit our Contact Us page or attend one of the scheduled meetings.

We also have a number of collectibles and wearables for sale. Visit our Collectibles and Wearables page for more detail.

The 150th Committee will be meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month, every other month, beginning in July. Everyone is invited to attend, to hear and discuss what is being planned or to present ideas for additional events.
