Many of our events over the past several years were very popular, and many people requested they be continued. So the Committee decided to continue to sponsor these events.
If you have an idea for an event you would like to see held, please feel free to email the Committee with your idea. Alternatively, please feel free to attend one of our meetings to present your idea.
Below is a list of upcoming and planned events. Click on any listed event for more details (when available).

Join designated residents of Hulmeville, and others interested in history, for a haunted walking tour of the historic town of Hulmeville, PA as it celebrates its 152nd anniversary! Learn about the fascinating history of the people and buildings in Hulmeville, as well as present day paranormal activity, through a combination of town historian records and the communications medium Karen Hluchan received using her gifts of mediumship.
The tour will start at the borough hall and will begin with a short film about the history of Hulmeville and the paranormal hot spots in town. Then, enjoy a lantern-led walking tour through downtown historic Hulmeville exploring 152 years of haunted history. Be sure to bring your camera to see if you can capture any ghosts or orbs in your photos.
This is an event not to be missed!
Tickets will be on sale beginning August 1. Tickets for each show are limited. Tickets may only be purchased online at https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/hulmeville-150th/ghost-tours-2025
On the evening of the event, teams of judges will tour the decorated and haunted houses in the borough and judge the best decorated ones.
Houses will be judged in 4 categories: Scariest, Most colorful, Most natural, and Child's Choice.
Awards will be given to first place in each category. In addition, the Mayor's Choice award will be given to the house with the highest score across all categories.
After enjoying your dinner in this historic location (which is part of the Hulmeville Walking Ghost Tours), Karen will provide a brief explanation about how spirit communication works and then she will bring through loved ones in spirit and their direct messages for participants in the group setting. Interesting themes and messages within the messages often emerge bringing soul-level healing and insights about Heaven and life for those in attendance. Even though readings are random and there is no guarantee that you will receive a direct message from the Other Side, it is a fascinating and entertaining event not to be missed!
Part of the proceeds are being donated to the town of Hulmeville for the building of a community park.
Karen is hosting a drawing for a $15 gift certificate good towards her products and services. Karen is also hosting a drawing for a signed hardcover edition of her book, How Have You Loved? The winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Seating is limited to 50 people and sells out fast!
